Bus Services

There are many buses which connect with Lakes Line trains.  Most are run by Stagecoach in Cumbria and for times look on the Traveline Website or ring 0871 200 2233.  Tourist Information Centres have copies of Stagecoach’s own publication, the ‘Cumbria & Lakesrider’ showing most services in the Lake District.

From Oxenholme buses go to Sedbergh and Brough, and a Kendal town service calls there.

From Windermere there are bus services to Bowness, through the central Lake District to Keswick, and other destinations in the Lakes.
